Refund Policy

At Fourth Flower, we stand behind the quality of our floral arrangements. Because flowers are perishable, our refund and return processes are governed by the following terms:
1. Freshness Guarantee & Quality Issues

Notification Window: If your flowers arrive damaged or do not meet our freshness standards, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Resolution: Based on the situation, we will offer a replacement of equal value or a partial/full refund to the original payment method.

Documentation: To help us diagnose the issue, please email a photo of the arrangement within the 48-hour window to hi.fourthflower@gmail.com.
2. Order Cancellations

Standard Orders: You may cancel your order for a full refund if the request is made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date.

In-Process Orders: We cannot issue refunds for orders that have already been designed or are currently out for delivery with a courier.
3. Non-Delivery and Address Errors

Our Responsibility: If we fail to attempt a delivery on the scheduled date, you are entitled to a full refund of the purchase price and delivery fee.

Customer Responsibility: We are not responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the sender. In these cases, we can attempt a redelivery for an additional fee once the correct information is provided.
4. Non-Perishable Items

30-Day Window: For non-perishable gift items (vases, gift baskets, teddy bears), you may return the item in its original, unopened condition within 30 days for a full refund or exchange.

Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt or digital order confirmation is required for all non-perishable returns.
5. Sales Tax and Delivery Fees

Tax Refunds: If a refund is issued, we will refund the associated 6% Michigan sales tax.

Delivery Fees: Per Michigan law effective April 26, 2023, delivery charges are exempt from sales tax if they are separately stated on your invoice. If a refund is granted for a non-delivery error on our part, the full delivery fee will be refunded.
6. Michigan Pricing Protections

Overcharge Bonus: Under Michigan’s Shopping Reform and Modernization Act, if you are overcharged (the price charged is higher than the price displayed at checkout), you must notify us within 30 days. You may be entitled to a refund of the difference plus a "bonus" of ten times that difference (minimum $1.00, maximum $5.00).
